Pony Club Games Nights

Pony Club Games were introduced by HRH Prince Philip as a competition that anyone could participate on, on any type of pony! Pony Club Games take place at HOYS every year-you’ve probably seen them on TV!

Our games training nights are aimed at all ages and standards-as long as you have a ribbon, you can come and play games!  The first couple of sessions will be dismounted (you need to attend these to learn the games) but after that, its onto ponies and all go!

Games are for everyone, but by Summer we hope to have a senior and junior games team, who will be able to take part in competitions with teams from outside Hayfield.

5.30pm to 7pm on:

14th April

5th May

2nd June

Unmounted Sessions £5 per person

 Mounted Sessions £10 per person

 Pink Ribbon and above

Our roads are getting ever more dangerous and busy, and although most of us avoid roadwork on horses as much as possible, there are times when it is unavoidable.  Through road safety training we can hope to educate not only horse riders, but other road users, and make riding out safer and more enjoyable.

Training : 29th April, 6th May, 13th May, 27th May, 3rd June

Exam: 10th June

Time: 3 –5pm  (Approximately)

Duration: 5 Sessions each lasting 2 hours (minimum) plus exam

Cost: £180 (£90 payable on booking, balance due prior to week 3)

Exam Cost: £50/ £37 (PC/BHS Members)

Minumum Age: 12 years

Please note: All candidates must be committed to attending the whole course and final exam.
